I'm doomed.

Like I need more books, right? I'm doomed.

Tomorrow is the annual Ladies Auxillary Book Sale in my hometown. The ENTIRE ice arena is filled with tables of books. Tomorrow is the last day and for the morning from 8-12 it is only $4 for a bag. A BAG! After 12, it is free! FREE!

Why does this happen one month before BEA?

This event is fun and stressful at the same time. I get excited and continue filling up bags. Last year I agreed on ONE bag. I got FOUR.

Oh well...this is my destiny. To live surrounded my books that I may never read. Reading From My Shelves Project be damned.

sigh.

How does one walk away from tables of books. And reasonably priced I presume!! Just give in and be happy.

yeah tell me about it. I was talking to my DH about BEA, and I going to have a friend send books from there since I can't make it. I only asking for 9 books but I have feeling it will higher.

My dh says we aren't a library. :(

I'm on a book buying ban at the moment and doing well but I don't have any temptation as big as this! I did resist a library book sale the other day where books were only 10p, and that took a lot.

That's so cool!!! Last time I went to a book sale we got there four hours late, not realizing it wasn't an all day event ...but four bags?! I predict the need of a shopping trolley or bag with wheels ;)

This is why I never escape my clutter. Book sales! I remember when I was younger buying a bag and managing to read it all. That hasn't happened in years and I can't part with a book I still might want to read so I have way too many books! I'm sure you'll discover some gems!

That is hilarious. Go in with a plan or you will be doomed, doomed and excited :-)

Tell me you have a Wishlist, take that, go in with specifics or you will end up with 4 bags again.

You're in good company....I think this is a problem that most of us in the book-blogging world share. I know I have no restraint when it comes to these things.....

Have fun! I wish I had one to go to...

Tiny LIbrary, you are the only one I don't have an email for so I am responding here. I am impressed with your strength in resisting buying books. Usually I am pretty good but these darn cheap sales are hard to resist.

Oh! I am so there with you, I love buying books, even though I keep saying I am not buying anymore books. But how can you pass up a bargain like that. Have a fun time with your bags and bags of books. ; ) Happy Reading...

I feel you, girl! Think we need a support group? *L* I finally have all my books moved out of the old house. I have put away most of the non-fiction, but ALL the fiction books are still in boxes. I think I'm going to take a picture of the mountain of boxes for my readers' enjoyment. =O) I just won three Amazon gift certs in the past two weeks so I have about 5 books on the way from there and my monthly used books sale is in two weeks. Speaking of husbands, I have to give mine props. He loaded (albeit with a hand truck), hauled and stacked all these books with hardly a complaint. I'll have to remember that next time I get mad at him!

Have fun at your sale!
