My Love for Tana French

Who out there as read Tana French?
I am 165 pages in to The Likeness and I can not put it down.
So incredibly atmospheric, calculating, and gritty.
Man, can she write.
So looking forward to this one next!
Absolutely LOVED this one! I reviewed it last year and gave away a copy. I believe the cool cat Ryan from Wordsmithonia won that one!

They are all set in and around Dublin. I have such weird literary crushes on the rough and tough detectives with Irish accents.

Check out Tana French's website.

Happy Reading and as always, thanks for stopping by!

I've yet to read anything by Tana French, but I have to say, you're quite making me want to! ;)

I have seen many great reviews on her books, I want to try especially when trusted blogging friends like you speak highly of the books.

I've been meaning to read a book by Tana French. I have a copy of The Likeness but not of In the Woods...yet. :) I'm glad you're enjoying her books.

I haven't read any of these yet but I reallly plan on it, lol! I lent the first two to my mother and she's really enjoying the first one (and she's sort of picky) so I'm sure I'll like it too. This series and the dragon tattoo ones are two that I really want to read.. I don't know why I just don't get around to them!

You will have to let us know what you think of the Likeness when you are done. I liked Into the Woods, but was dissapointed by the lack of resolution.

I've not read her!
And thanks - I think you're about the only one NOT talking about Mockingjay right now. Good for you!

I have always wanted to pick up her books and read them ever since she first hit the scene a couple of years ago...I don't know WHY I haven't. Always something else out there I wanted to read more I think. But now with your post I WANT to run get her books and dive right in! Although I have a stack beside me a mile high I need to get through...and that doesn't count what's on my ipod nor my kindle.....

I'm a little embarrassed by how long I've had Into The Woods sitting on Mt. TBR! Everyone loves French--I really need to get started with this trilogy!

It's funny, I read so many good reviews of In the Woods that I bought and gave it to my sister twice! I need to borrow it back and read it myself.
